A Golden Evening To Remember
On September 26, 2025, we celebrated an unforgettable Golden Evening to honour National Childhood Cancer Awareness Month. Arjan, our wonderful Noble Lord of Wines, and his fantastic colleagues from The Hidden Cork, kept us all delighted with 4 wine tastings paired with savory bites from Red Seal Dining, and a variety of local desserts from Ollia Macarons, mochi donuts from Sweet Rice YYC, Mackay’s ice cream, and Cupcakes in Bloom. Oh Wow Popcorn supplied us with fun and the freshest kettle corn, and Chair Flair worked their magic to transform the space into a glittering golden paradise.
Our community gathered to raise their glasses to the brave families who are in the middle of the storm, and together we raised an incredible $102,000! This enables us to support families dealing with childhood cancer with necessary items when they are in the hospital, when they need it most. We will be able to provide timely support with medication, parking passes, and meals, as well as offer some joy and levity by allowing families to simply have fun together at the movies or with a night out.
