Growing Smiles Spring 2025

We’re offering beautiful plants for sale to support our Care Program! Gardening is a wonderful way to enjoy the outdoors, and by purchasing your spring flowers from us instead of a big-box store, you’re making a meaningful difference. Our greenery comes directly from a greenhouse in British Columbia. Every dollar raised goes directly to our Care Program, helping ensure that children undergoing cancer treatment at the Alberta Children’s Hospital have what they need most—a parent by their side. Our goal this year is to sell 950 plants!

We offer 8 convenient locations for you to select from within Calgary, and delivery is available to Canmore/Banff. Please choose carefully, as once your order is confirmed for a specific location, it cannot be rerouted. Take your time and watch your email for confirmation.

Pick-up times are scheduled for Friday, May 23, 2025, between 5-7 PM, and Saturday, May 24, 2025, between 10 AM – Noon. Please mark these dates on your calendar. Our pick-up process is open house style, meaning you can drop by anytime during the specified timeframes without prior notice.

Once you place your order on our website, you’ll be prompted to pay either via Email Money Transfer (transfers can be sent to accounting@helpingfamilies.ca) or by Credit Card.
