Grant Writer
We welcome Heather to our staff, with her passion, enthusiasm, and love of proper grammar and organizational skills. She will be responsible for managing our writing grant applications, events, and donor support, all with her own unique flair.
Heather comes to us with personal experience in childhood cancer, having navigated a diagnosis of Neuroblastoma with her daughter from 2018 to 2020. She has a huge heart as an advocator for improved treatments and mental health support for childhood cancer patients, survivors, and their families.
Hobbies/interests:
Heather is a storyteller, advocate, and community builder, sharing her journey of life, love, and loss as a bereaved Mama. She walks in joy sustained by the gratitude of being a Mom to Evelyn and Harper and wife to Mike. She lives with the heart of someone who carries unending grief, intertwined with unending love.
