CGI- Director of Consulting Delivery
Van is a Director of Consulting Delivery for a Canadian Information Technology organization called CGI. He has worked in the IT Oil & Gas industry for the past 11 years managing teams as large as 65 in North America, Europe and in the Middle East for many large Oil & Gas clients. He is a servant leader that focuses on enabling growth and prosperity in his team members, while ensuring service levels and customer experience is met with excellence.
Since being introduced to Carie Stock in 2008, Van has always had a special place for the foundation and assisted in developing the Helping Families’ original logo, website and marketing materials. He was also the recipient of the Helping Families Foundation Volunteer Award in 2013. Recently, Van’s passion for helping was re-ignited after attending the foundations $1 million dollar milestone celebration and he now holds a position on the board, marketing committee and chair of the scholarship committee.
Hobbies/interests:
Van loves the outdoors and spends most of his time hiking on the weekends in the Kananaskis and Banff areas with his partner and their Australian cattle dog Ellie. He enjoys listening to podcasts and actually has started one of his own in self-development and mental health. Van also enjoys making use of winter months and often times can be found snowboarding in Banff and Lake Louise when he has time.
