This two year old girl will be receiving chemo regularly for the next 2.5 years after recently being diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia. During this time she will have a compromised immune system and she will be away from her home for at least a month. After that she will be travelling between her hometown and Calgary often for further treatments. Her mother had suffered a broken arm and had to take a month off work prior to her daughter being diagnosed, and now she is unable to work at all while she supports her two daughters. We were able to step in and help this family by paying $8,380.65 towards their rent, utilities and grocery bills.
