This 12 year old girl requires a bone marrow transplant and her family lives far from Calgary limits. Since her diagnosis the family have had to travel back and forthbetween Calgary and Edmonton for multiple appointments to help treat her illness. They are happy and hopeful that with this transplant their daughter can live a happy and normal life again. The parents are currently unemployment but her father is job seeking to be able to financially support his family. This sad series of events has been very hard on the family but they are trying to make the best of everything and have very positive attitudes about their futures. In the meantime, our charity has been able to step in and provide them with $400 worth of grocery gift cards.
